J.S. Bach/B. Holten: Motets and instrumental music
Unfortunately, Bach never wrote music for choir a cappella. In these arrangements, Bo Holten has tried to “reconstruct” 4 new Bach motets, primarily based on organ music and rarely performed chorals. Each motet concentrates on one single choral-melody in various appearances and harmonizations - all genuine Bach-music, but in a new shape. In addition the ensemble will sing Bach's original motet "Komm, Jesus komm" and Allan Rasmussen and Fredrik Bock performs selcted instrumental pieces.
- Recorded by Danmarks Radio - Live transmisson by DR/EBU -
